What Equipment is Needed for P90X3

By Coach Miguel | In P90X3 | on December 12, 2013

People keep asking me what equipment is needed for P90X3 so I wanted to explain it really clearly in a quick and dirty blog post. All the equipment you need for P90X3 is your body weight. It’s true. Now here is the thing, you can definitely add some additional components to take full advantage of P90X3 once you get more advanced, but you don’t need them day one. That said, let’s talk about what I would recommend you get. Also, you should add me on Facebook (yes, I am a real person) so I can help you get the most out of P90X3!

What Equipment is Recommended for P90X3

One of the most important pieces of equipment you will need for P90X3 is the resistance bands. You don’t really need weights in my opinion, and these things fit anywhere. So if you are traveler and staying in hotels, you can throw these in your suitcase no problem. But this is really all you need for P90X3.

P90X3 Equipment You Need If You Want To Push Limits

If you want to push your limits with P90X3, you are going to want to add three more items to your shopping list. Ready?

Dumbbells. You don’t need expensive dumbbells. In fact the ones I use that I love the best are ones that cost 2 dollars at a yard sale. Yes I have the expensive set of weight that are fancy, but just a plane set of dumbbells from Wall-Mart will work just fine. Get three different weights to start, so say, 10 pounds, 15, and 20 pounds and you are totally fine.

Chin-up bar. You need this if you want to rock out P90X3. Not only is a great workout, but it’s also a great way for you to measure your progress.

The last thing you will want to get for P90X3 is a medicine ball and a few stability balls. Tony loves them and they will help you get incredible results with P90X3. Again, you don’t need them to do P90X3, as you can always just use the floor and gravity, but having them would definitely help you get better results.

Want To Order P90X3?

I’d love to help you get the best results possible with P90X3. I’ve worked out with Tony Horton on numerous occasions and have completed P90X as well as P90X3. To help you, I run P90X3 Challenge Groups on Facebook. What is a Challenge Group? It is a place you will be able to check-in every day to keep you on track, because let’s face it, we all need someone to hold us accountable. I will get you results!

Step 1 - Decide which copy of P90X3 you want to order. I always recommend the P90X3 Challenge Pack. It comes with everything you need, bonus workouts, a P90X3 hat, and even a huge bag of Shakeology (I’m sure you’ve heard of it). It goes for $205 and is a sell out item for Beachbody. If you would rather just get the workouts with no bonuses, you can get P90X3 Base Kit here as well for $119.

Step 2 - Add me on facebook and send me a message letting me know you are ALL IN! I’ll add you to our group, and get you started as soon as the workout program arrives.

Looking forward to having you on our team.
